Chief Administrative Officer

Through the ongoing development of NovioOcean, the company will bring a new, highly cost-effective method of harnessing renewable ocean energy to market in the following few years.

With oceans covering more than two thirds of our planet’s surface, Novige is positioning itself at the forefront of green energy production and has the potential to drastically impact greenhouse gas reduction by contributing to a 100% renewable energy future for the best of the climate and the consumers.


The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will play a key role in Novige’s team by closely supporting the CEO with daily tasks, managing calendar functions, facilitating internal and external communication, as well as representing the company at events from time to time.

This position is ideal for a person who wants to evolve their own role and carve out their responsibilities in a company on a fast growth track. The role will be versatile, and you will be actively collaborating with the CEO as well as the COO to take the company objectives further.


  • Assistance in company-level communications and stakeholder contact/management
  • Preparation of informatory material and assisting in maintaining Novige’s presence on social media platforms
  • Email and calendar management, as well as handling other daily matters
  • Assistance in payments and processing expenses
  • Document processing
  • Assistance in knowledge management processes
  • Surveying potential suppliers, partners and future customers and initiating contact
  • Assistance in tendering
  • Occasionally attending industry-wide events, pitching & representing Novige both in person and digitally

Background & Requirements

  • Suitable degree, preferably bachelor level or higher (e.g., Business Administration, Economics or similar)
  •  Several years of administrative experience, preferably in relevant industries/projects
  • Experience of customer/partner/stakeholder relations is a strong plus
  • Leadership potential & willingness to grow with the company into leadership roles
  •  Financial experience
  •  Legal experience is seen as a plus
  • Experience of working within national and/or regional development projects is a strong merit
  • Excellent fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered a merit
  • Excellent skills in MS Office and/or administrative systems
