NoviOcean presents the Medi Wave 850H at the Swedish-Polish Chamber of Commerce

NoviOcean was proud to present at the Swedish-Polish Chamber of Commerce this week, where our CEO Jan Skjoldhammer introduced the Medi Wave 850H to an engaged audience of business and industry leaders.

The session generated significant interest — a full room, active discussion, and questions spanning technology, commercial deployment, and the broader offshore-energy opportunity in the North and Baltic Sea region.

We presented our vision for the next generation of offshore energy: an 850 kW floating hybrid platform combining wave, wind and solar in one integrated structure, delivering stable and continuous clean electricity at competitive economics. Later iterations are set for 3 MW and 5 MW sizes.

The conversations reinforced what we are increasingly hearing across Europe: the offshore energy transition is accelerating. Poland's Baltic Sea is being transformed by large-scale offshore wind. The logical next step is hybrid systems that improve stability, increase energy density per sea area, and reduce dependence on storage and backup generation.

That is the problem NoviOcean exists to solve.

Our NO3 prototype is currently deploying at our offshore test site near Stockholm — onboard visits welcome. Phase 1 commercial pilot deployment is targeted for 2026–2027.
