We are excited to present to you shortly about NoviOcean and how we intend to improve the marine energy landscape through our unique yet profoundly simple solution.
The video was recorded during our public site visit (20th and 24th May 2022) in Stockholm in which we presented the NoviOcean NO2 prototype and our latest achievements.
Various representatives from the EU Commission, industry actors, academia, newspapers, technical magazines, political parties, NGOs, and young researchers kindly joined us. We talked more about NoviOcean and all the attendees got a chance to take boat trips to watch the unit up close and in action.
In this video, you will hear about our technology, mission, current achievements, and future plans from Jan Skjoldhammer (Novige’s Founder/CEO) and Danial Hassani (Novige’s COO).
You can also hear what Göran Öfverström (Head Research Investment & Strategy Soya Group/Wallenius Lines) thinks about our innovation and what we intend to bring to the ocean energy sector.
Follow us to hear more about our latest developments and how we plan on “saving the climate with profitable wave power”.
1 MW Hybrid Solution
650 kW Wave, 300 kW Wind, 50 kW Solar.
(40% capacity Factor | 3.5 GWh /unit/year)
Lighter, low LCOE, more powerful – the future of clean, efficient energy
Wave energy: 5x denser than wind, 10x solar, available 24/7, highly predictable.
Since 2016, pioneering simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability in cleantech
By 2030, 0.5 GW contracted, and by 2050, 10 GW, reflecting our ambition to campture 25% of the EU’s 2050 target, worth E 30 billion in Europe alone. The global market is six times larger
Structured path: Full-scale prototype 2022, commercial phase by 2029. Cost-efficient tech, global partners, and a sustainable future. Let’s connect!
NoviOcean’s patented innovations and efficient components create a resilient, high-power-density Ocean Energy Converter. With streamlined processes for manufacturing, installation, and maintenance, NoviOcean offers lower costs and competitive LCOE values, challenging existing ocean energy solutions and fossil fuels.
